Lisa created all of the flowers for our daughter’s wedding in Hillsborough, NC. It was a park wedding followed by a reception at Yonder (cocktails & dancing) and Nomad (dinner). Lisa decorated every location and did a beautiful job; she’s very talented. It was a big ask to decorate so many places in a few hours, but she never hesitated or used the word “can’t.” She was so helpful and gave us great suggestions and beautiful ideas. From Laura B: We cannot thank Lisa enough for the joy and beauty she added to our daughter's wedding weekend - her flowers were absolutely perfect! Lisa was a dream to work with, she does beautiful work and provides excellent service to boot. What a joy to work with a local family flower farmer who is so completely devoted not only to her craft but also its contribution to our very special day. We were on a tight budget so decided to DIY our flowers for the reception - she brought buckets of gorgeous flowers and greenery for us to arrange - so so easy and fun and perfect! We are not "craft-y" enough to do the bouquets so she made the bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres for us. Everything was delivered to our location the morning of the wedding so they were super fresh (and ended up lasting beautifully for over a week after the wedding!!). She brought extras of everything just in case we needed it and some of the greenery was stuff she'd seen growing wild and knew it would fit nicely with the "look" that the Bride had requested so she foraged for some airy woodsy wonderful additions. Everything she brought us was reasonably priced and truly a perfect match for the vibe of the day. Plus, she is a delightful human being with an infectious enthusiasm! She communicated throughout the planning process clearly and promptly. Cannot recommend Lisa Joyner and Fireside Farm highly enough. Feeling so lucky to have been able to have Fireside Farm flowers at our family event.

From Sydney S: The most beautiful flowers! We customized one of the "small wedding packages" for our mountain microwedding. Lisa was so accommodating and helpful. She asked for general input on color and style and I told her I envisioned "sunset colors." As you can see, she nailed it. It was also so fun to see the farm when we picked them up. From Mary L: Oh my! How do I start? Lisa is my go to person for anything flower related. She is the most amazing, kind-hearted, talented and artistic flower person you can find anywhere. A few years ago a friend and I were going to arrange the flowers for a good friend's wedding. I called Lisa and just gave her a general idea of what we wanted and she gave us buckets and buckets of gorgeous flowers with an amazing variety of greenery. Since then she's provided us with her lovely dried flower bouquets, her stunning dried wreaths (my daughter, daughter-in-law and I all have one,) luscious fresh bouquets I've given as gifts, and her beautiful Ranunculus Subscription which I gave to my daughter-in-law as a gift. When my son's big wedding was canceled in 2020 because of Covid, we scrambled to put on the best wedding possible for just our family in the front yard. Lisa consulted with my daughter-in-law and provided us with the beautiful, beautiful flowers she wanted for the bouquets and to make a sweet arbor of greenery and blossoms for them to get married in front of. We are so fortunate and blessed to have Lisa in our community; she's the best!

We wanted to use a florist that was focused on sustainability and preferably used locally-grown flowers and no floral foam, and Fireside Farms was ideal for us. Lisa was so flexible throughout the planning process as we changed the specifics of our plan (then changed it… then changed it again…) and she brought our vision of a wild-looking, lush, but still elegant wedding to life. She put so much consideration into every little piece of the design, and she even tracked down and bought new containers for our centerpieces. She also did an arrangement on the fireplace that was the backdrop for our ceremony, and it was absolutely stunning. All of our guests were raving about it after the ceremony! From Melissa H: I got the pleasure of working with Lisa on my wedding and she was my absolute favorite person to work with. She truly lives up to her flower fairy reputation and made my wedding absolutely magical! I had a very loose vision of what I wanted - lots of sunflowers, but didn't know much else or where to take it. Lisa ran with that idea and created the most beautiful pieces I ever could have imagined and opened my eyes to all the beautiful variations of sunflowers. We did a mix of DIY with our bouquets and arrangements that Lisa did and we had so much fun with it. Lisa did beautiful arrangements for the tables as well as a piece for my hair, an installation on our altar, and even took this loose idea of suitcases full of flowers and made something magnificent. Lisa did the most amazing job providing flowers and an arbor setup for our very special day and I can say without a doubt that she did not disappoint. From Becky G: Lisa fulfilled all of my wildflower wedding dreams! She helped me think through my vision for flowers and explained how it would all come together. She graciously fulfilled my request for an abundance of sunflowers, as well as providing guidance on picking color and texture. Instead of a traditional bridal shower, I had a flower shower on the day before my wedding. At the flower shower, my bridesmaids, friends, and family all helped to put together the floral arrangements for our big day. We made our own bouquets, boutonnières, table arrangements and arbor decorations. Lisa delivered the flowers to our venue in buckets, gave us a boutonniere demonstration, and offered tips for our various arrangements. My bridesmaids had so much fun making their own bouquets and it was such a nice way to personalize the whole process. Lisa’s support made my flower shower a fun and collaborative process and put me at ease in the final hours before my wedding day. Our flowers made my wedding day feel truly magical. From Rachael K: I was lucky to have Fireside Farm do our flowers for our wedding (two times!!)! We had an intimate wedding in September 2020 and Lisa went above and beyond what I imagined. I remember providing Lisa with a photo of a bouquet that I liked, and saying I want this but without the acorns and different colors. When I saw her on my wedding morning, I was speechless. Fast forward seven months when we had another wedding with all our guests. When we had a floral meeting, I told Lisa, “I have full faith in you - do what you want!” For our 2.0 wedding in April, Lisa made twine hoop bouquets for my bridesmaids and now they’re hanging on my wall. She incorporated every color I was looking for, she used fresh flowers and dried flowers, all different textures; even more speechless then I was in September. I believe that Lisa really understood me and my husband, and she was able to use her creativity (because I’m not) and made the most incredible floral arrangements throughout our venue. We also had an arbor that she ordered Spanish Moss to decorate with. Lisa for sure goes above and beyond to ensure that her brides, grooms, and parents are satisfied.
